Shaunie Henderson, mother to Shareef and Shaqir O'Neal, posted a funny video of her and Shaq's sons doing a goofy dance to Chris Brown's classic hit 'Wall to Wall.'
In the caption, Shaunie asks the RnB singer to respond to what she thinks as questionable moves by her son Shariq.
"😂😂😂 @chrisbrownofficial needs to respond immediately @shaqironeall@shareefoneal" she said in the caption.
Shaq and Shaunie were married for eight years from 2002-2010 before finalising their divorce in 2011. The couple had four children together who they continue to co-parent today.
Shaqir O'Neal, son of Shaq, thriving at Florida A&M
After transferring from Texas Southern to Florida A&M, redshirt junior and son of NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, Shaqir O'Neal has made an immediate impact on the Rattlers' basketball team.
O'Neal is averaging 8.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game for the Rattlers. He spoke to the Tallahassee Democrat news outfit in December about his time at Florida A&M.
"I want to build a name for myself in Tallahassee. I love this place," O’Neal said. "I’m not going to let anybody down. I want to make FAMU proud."
Before joining Florida A&M, the forward had limited playing time at Texas Southern, where he averaged just 1.6 points over two seasons. Despite those numbers, O’Neal contributed to the Tigers’ success, helping them secure back-to-back SWAC Championships in 2022 and 2023.
Reflecting on his journey, O’Neal shared his motivation for transferring. While he knew it was a risk, he wanted to bet on himself.
"I entered the portal to bet on myself. I had bad stats, averaged one point a game, and had no other interest," he said. "Coach Pat [Patrick Crarey II, head coach of Florida A&M] ran into my dad and brother and said he’s willing to take a chance on me. He came and checked me out during the summer. Coach Pat gave me an opportunity."
Now thriving as a proud Rattler, Shaqir O'Neal is determined to make the most of this opportunity and leave a lasting legacy in Tallahassee.
