College basketball fans are buzzing after a recent game in which Hailey Van Lith of TCU Horned Frogs, dribbled past her opponent from the Baylor Lady Bears, causing the player to lose her balance.
The video was posted on Instagram via Overtimewbb, with the caption, "I’m sorry I had to 😭 @haileyvanlith @tcuwbb."
In the video, the TCU star made a double crossover move to beat her marker, which completely got the player lost. The dribble that left fans in awe was one of the biggest highlights of the game.
The guard, who has averaged 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 45.0 FG%, got the spectators off their feet with the swift move that left her opponent confused.
The TCU star's performance helped her team secure a comfortable victory 80-75 over the Lady Bears on Sunday, Jan. 26. The Horned Frogs won the first three-quarters of the game and lost the fourth (17-11, 25-20, 20-18, 18-26).
The guard scored the third-highest number of points with 19, behind Sedona Prince (24), and Maddison Conner (21), while adding two rebounds and three assists to crown her performance.
The result leaves the Horned Frogs fourth on the Big 12 Conference standings, with 20 wins and five losses in their last 25 game this season.
The Horned Frogs will face the Lady Bears on Thursday, Jan. 30, for the second time in a row and will be looking to secure a back-to-back win following their victory last timeout.
