Many consider UConn guard Paige Bueckers as the early favorite to go No. 1 in the 2025 WNBA draft. However, she still has a season of college basketball to go through before her switch to the big leagues.
In anticipation of the 2024-2025 season, Bueckers was featured in an intense offseason practice session at Bullis Bulldogs' gym center in Potomac, Maryland. On X, a fan account posted images showing the Huskies standout in top physical form.
College basketball fans were left raving about Bueckers as her workout pictures blew up on social media. One fan hinted that she is putting in serious effort, perhaps pushing her limits with an intense practice regimen.
"Shi banged," the fan commented.
"oml how did this shi bang," another fan wrote.
One fan was particularly excited about Bueckers' future in the WNBA and wanted the prospect to join the LA Sparks.
"future LA Spark," the fan predicted.
Meanwhile, other fans couldn't help but be drawn to Paige Bueckers' dedication.
"The aura is oozing," one fan commented.

Paige Bueckers on UConn Huskies' team dynamics
Paige Bueckers, an Edina, Minnesota, native, has almost won every award and honor available on a personal level. But she is yet to be a national champion.
Despite being eligible for the 2024 WNBA draft at the end of last season, Bueckers returned to UConn for her final shot at winning the NCAA championship. The Huskies would have suffered badly had she also declared for the draft because another top player from last season, Aaliyah Edwards, also departed the program.
Coach Geno Auriemma and his team were eliminated in the Final Four of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Bueckers talked about the Huskies' togetherness.
"I feel like all of us are really out of our shell already," Bueckers said. "We're very close with each other. It's kind of been the theme my four years of just how close we are and how tight knit our group has always been. And it's continued this summer. We do everything together. So, it's hard not to be close."
Paige Bueckers and KK Arnold, with their friendly and energetic natures, have been key in bringing the team closer together.
"She [Arnold] can build chemistry with anyone, like that’s what she what she does, who she is,” Bueckers said.
The 6-foot guard has also been hanging out more with Azzi Fudd lately. The duo attended a WNBA and an NWSL game in DC on Saturday. Besides, Bueckers has recently introduced the team to Legos as well.
