Sister Brandi hypes up Hanna and Haley Cavinder as Miami play Syracuse: "My fav type of game day"

Haley Cavinder' Miami Hurricanes entered their Sunday matchup against Syracuse hoping to end a three-game losing streak. With a 1-3 record in ACC play, Miami relied heavily on Haley, who averages 17.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game.

With Haley and her twin sister Hanna playing, their sister, Brandi Cavinder Perkins, shared her support via Instagram story. Captioning a video of the twins in action, she wrote:

“Closing out Sunday with my fav type of game day.”

The game was a disappointment for the Hurricanes who lost 66-61. This was Miami's fourth straight loss. Both teams faced significant challenges, with turnovers (19 each) and defensive inconsistency being key factors in the outcome.

Haley Cavinder led Miami with 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Hanna Cavinder had two points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals. The Hurricanes shot 33.8% floor and 32.1% from the 3-point range. However, Syracuse was slightly more efficient, shooting 37.7% from the floor.

Despite the great start to the season, Miami now holds an 11-5 overall record and four losses in conference play.

On Saturday, the twins posted a mirror selfie on their joint Instagram account, showing off their toned abs in matching crop tops. Talking about their struggles with eating disorders and body dysmorphia, they wrote:

Haley Cavinder remains a dominant force for Miami, leading the team with averages of 17.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. Hanna contributes valuable support with 7.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game.

Meanwhile, Hanna Cavinder's relationship with former Georgia Bulldogs player, Carson Beck has also drawn attention. The quarterback announced his transfer news and is set to play his final college season with the Miami Hurricanes.
