UConn Huskies basketball star Paige Bueckers is gearing up for another season under head coach Geno Auriemma. Amid the preparations, Bueckers has also been building up her social presence this offseason.

Paige Bueckers attended the fourth edition of the WNBA's Commisioner's Cup finals between the Minnesota Lynx and the New York Liberty. Being born and raised in Edina, Minnesota, the UConn star was present to show her support for the Lynx.

In a recent post on X, we see Bueckers strike a pose with Minnesota Lynx's Dorka Juhasz. She was seen sporting Juhasz's jersey as they embraced each other. Juhasz played two seasons with the UConn Huskies before being drafted as the 16th overall pick by Minnesota in the 2023 WNBA draft.

"Sister sister," Bueckers wrote in the caption of the post.

Bueckers was not left disappointed by Lynx's performance in the Commissioner's Cup final against the New York Liberty. They had a 94-89 victory over their opponents.

Sabrina Ionescu tallied 23 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in the game for the Liberty. In the beginning, it looked like she would lead the Liberty to glory.

However, the second half of the Commisioner's Cup final was a different story from the first. The Minnesota Lynx quickly recovered from a slow start, with Bridget Carleton leading the attack with a total of 23 points, four rebounds and five assists. Napheesa Collier followed closely with 21 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Juhasz put up four points, three rebounds and one assist.

Paige Bueckers extends well-wishes to Cameron Brink following ACL injury

Ex-Stanford star Cameron Brink's WNBA debut season came to an unfortunate end. The Los Angeles Sparks rookie slipped and tore her ACL during a regular-season showdown against the Connecticut Sun. Brink announced her injury on social media, and she is expected to miss the rest of the 2024 season to rehabilitate.

Bueckers shared a post on X extending her well-wishes to Brink.

"Prayers up for Cam. GOD SPEED," she wrote in the post

Before her injury, Brink played in 15 games for the Sparks. She averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game
