Kiyan Anthony's mom La La Anthony is a television personality, philanthropist and activist. This week La La hosted a special Thanksgiving dinner at the Rikers Island correction facility in New York City.

The young men gathered for a meal through Anthony’s foundation, "ThreeSixty," which supports them while they are in prison, offering mentorship and legal help.

On Monday, she shared multiple snippets from the evening on her Instagram story, providing glimpses into the decor, food, and important work the foundation is doing.

"A beautiful Thanksgiving at Rikers Island with THREESIXTY! So proud of the work being done with the incarcerated population. So much to be grateful for," Lala wrote.

The BMF star launched the "ThreeSixty” program to provide support and resources to young inmates aged 18-21. The program offers support, provides life skills training, and guides them through the legal system to prepare for life after their release.

"I’m just excited that they got to bring some of their friends and family to share in a meal and just appreciate each other, love each other. Talk about what we’re grateful for," she said.
"There is life after this. This is a moment in your lifetime, but this doesn't define your life, and I want to make sure that they know that."

La La Anthony brought her son Kiyan, who recently committed to Syracuse University, to participate in a food drive at Rikers Island during Christmas in 2022.

Anthony shared a series of photos of herself and Kiyan on Instagram volunteering to distribute food to inmates at the notorious New York jail complex. She also expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped make the charity event successful.

"I hosted a holiday dinner at Rikers Island & I wanted to shout out the the young men who participate in my initiative every week & work SOOO hard to make real changes in their lives. Thank you to the staff that helps us run the initiative and puts in hard work as well," Lala wrote in the caption.
"The food was incredible! Perfect way to spend the holidays giving thanks for all of our blessings."

The former MTV host has been a frequent visitor to Rikers Island, using her platform and foundation to help improve conditions for the incarcerated population.
