South Carolina senior Bree Hall's final season promises to be another memorable as the No. 2 Gamecocks lead the SEC with a 6-0 record (18-1 overall). Meanwhile, her younger sister Brooklyn Hall is starting to carve out her own identity in the basketball world.

Hall is a rising junior at Western Reserve Academy (WRA) in Hudson, Ohio, and is beginning to attract national attention. Her standout performance was featured by 270hoops on Instagram, with the caption:

At 6-foot-0, Brooklyn is a versatile small forward with a game that mirrors her sister's competitive spirit. She is ranked No. 57 in ESPN's HoopGurlz rankings for the class of 2026.

Defensively, Brooklyn is a force to be reckoned with as her quick reflexes and long reach allow her to disrupt passing lanes, snatch possessions, and even block shots.

Brooklyn Hall's WRA dominates in girls' varsity basketball

Brooklyn's contributions to the WRA Girls Varsity Basketball team have been instrumental in their successes. After returning from a winter break, the team secured a 65-27 blowout win over Toledo Central Catholic on January 9th.

Brooklyn Hall had 12 points, six rebounds and four blocks. The win included standout performances from teammates Islay Moore, Jordyn Steindl, and Sheridan Oberhand who all helped lead the charge.

The team displayed shooting 58% from the field and 46% from beyond the arc. Their offensive precision was complemented by holding their opponents to just 27 points. This victory continued WRA's winning streak, setting a positive tone for upcoming games.

In another game in November 2024, WRA faced Oak City Prep in the "She Got Game Classic". The tightly contested matchup showcased Brooklyn's determination and skill. Despite early challenges, including a seven-point deficit in the third quarter, Brooklyn sparked a comeback with a tough layup and a three-pointer in transition.

The game reached a thrilling conclusion in the final moments of regulation. Trailing 48-45 with just 1.8 seconds left, WRA executed a perfectly orchestrated play. Lilah Turnbull '25 delivered a full-court pass to Maya Nahar '25, who found Sheridan Oberhand '25 for a buzzer-beating three-pointer to force overtime.

In the extra period, WRA capitalized on the momentum. Brooklyn and her teammates hit clutch free throws, while Oberhand’s key assists helped seal the 62-57 victory. The win not only extended WRA's streak but also highlighted Brooklyn’s ability to perform under pressure.
