Nate Oats, the Alabama men's basketball coach, was out and about on Saturday. Oats was seen among the crowd at Bryant-Denny Stadium watching the season-opening game between Western Kentucky and Alabama football.

The Crimson Tide football team, led by their new coach Kalen DeBoer, made a solid start to the campaign as they thrashed Western Kentucky 63-0. Alabama’s quarterback Jalen Milroe delivered a dominant display scoring five touchdowns — three through the air and two on the ground. He finished the game with 200 passing yards.
Nate Oats led Alabama to the Final Four in the NCAA tournament last season. Since coming to Tuscaloosa five years ago, Oats has completely revamped the team bringing them back to the spotlight.
Oats agreed to a contract extension in March, which will keep him at Alabama till 2030. He will earn $5 million in the first year, with his salary increasing to $7.55 million by the final year.
