“Squad is being full pieced”: Iowa’s Jada Gyamfi reacts to Butler's Jack McCaffrey’s in-game snaps 

Iowa women's basketball star Jada Gyamfi expressed her excitement at the prospect of Jack McCaffery joining the Butler men's basketball team in 2025. McCaffery, who played for Iowa City West High in his senior year, became the latest of the McCaffery brothers to join the Bulldogs in the Big East after announcing his commitment in July.

The youngest son of Iowa men's basketball coach Fran McCaffery posted a series of in-game photos on his Instagram page this summer.

"Weather the storm 🧤," he captioned the post.

Gymafi dropped a comment to show her support for the youngster.

"Meanwhile the squad is being full pieced," she wrote, to which he replied, "chill."

McCaffery is a four-star prospect in the Class of 2025. He averaged 15.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in his junior year.

Jack McCaffery is inspired by older brother Patrick McCaffery to join Butler

Jack McCaffery became the third of the McCaffery brothers to join the Butler Bulldogs after signing with the school last month.

Before committing to the Bulldogs, McCaffery, who ranks 85th in the ESPN Top 100 for 2025, had several offers from other schools, including Iowa, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.

"They offered me a little over a year ago and stayed consistent recruiting me this summer," he told 247Sports. "They had a coach at every single one of my games this summer and I felt like they really wanted me."

However, the Bulldogs also have Patrick to thank as he influenced the 6-foot-8 forward's decision to play for them.

"Coach Matta and his staff, I think the reason I can trust them is because my brother (Patrick McCaffrey) goes there now. He just grad transferred there," he told On3.

"Also, I didn't have the best spring, and they had the opportunity to drop me like some other schools and they didn't. This summer, when I started to play a lot better, some new schools started to reach out, but I felt like staying loyal to them was the right thing to do. I think they've been very honest throughout this whole process."

Meanwhile, the Mccaffery oldest and Caitlin Clark's boyfriend, Connor joined the Bulldogs as an assistant coach in September.
