UConn stars Paige Bueckers, Kaitlyn Chen and Aubrey Griffin praised teammate Caroline Ducharme after she shared photos on Instagram Wednesday. Ducharme, a junior guard, posted snapshots from the team's recent trip to the Bahamas.
Her post, captioned with sun, desert island and black heart emojis, included photos of herself and teammates Chen, Griffin, Jana El Alfy, Ayanna Patterson and Morgan Cheli.
Paige Bueckers' reaction has garnered the most attention, with over 200 likes.
"Sunkissed," the senior guard commented.
Here are other reactions from Ducharme's teammates:
"fun in the sun 🏝️," Chen chimed in.
"so pretty mom," Ziebell added.
"Mom in the Bahamas!," sophomore guard Ashlynn Shade said, echoing a nickname the Huskies often use for Ducharme.
"nice mom," KK Arnold wrote, adding a smiling face and a thumbs up emoji.
"Much needed fun soaking up the sun🏝️🙃," forward Ayanna Patterson wrote.
Griffin reacted with two strawberry emojis.
No. 2 UConn Huskies were in Nassau, Bahamas, last week to participate in the Baha Mar Women's Championship tournament. The team won the tournament after defeating Oregon State and No. 18 Ole Miss at Baha Mar Convention Center.

Paige Bueckers and Kaitlyn Chen reposted one of the photos from Caroline Ducharme's Instagram post of the Bahamas dump.
The image showed Ducharme, Chen, Ayanna Patterson, and Jana El Alfy posing together, standing on a wooden dock by the water, all dressed in casual summer attire.
Their UConn teammate KK Arnold added another photo from Ducharme's Instagram post, which showed the 6-foot-2 shooting guard and El Alfy taking a mirror selfie wearing matching black outfits.
Ducharme, who recovered from a head injury sustained last season, has not played any games this campaign.
Despite missing time on the court, the Milton, Massachusetts native has continued to support her team. UConn is off to a 7-0 start this season.
Paige Bueckers is leading the Huskies' front line, averaging 20.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. Graduate transfer Kaitlyn Chen is contributing 7.1 ppg and 4.3 apg.
