“Suspect’s personality trait is her boyfriend”: Haley Cavinder takes hilarious “personal” jabs at twin Hanna Cavinder in latest IG post

Haley Cavinder and her twin, Hanna, took jabs at each other for the latest TikTok trend, "Suspect Challenge." The video started with Hanna filming Haley and saying that the suspect loved the transfer portal. After a few more exchanges, the attacks got more personal.

Haley said:

"Suspect's personality trait is her boyfriend."

This led to Hanna Cavinder taking a dig at Haley for being a Dallas Cowboys fan only because of her boyfriend, Jake Ferguson.

The twins also poked fun by giving suspected reasons for their return to Miami for the fifth season, with Hanna's reason being a TikTok dancer and Haley's being the NIL. The twins posted the video on Instagram on Thursday with the caption:

"This got personal 🥲🥲 #twins #suspectchallenge #basketball."

Haley Cavinder also took a jab at Hanna being college football's biggest curse right now as her boyfriend, Carson Beck, is struggling with his team, the Georgia Bulldogs. Hanna retorted by suggesting that Haley was the one who invented the "Cavinder curse."

Hanna and Haley Cavinder's final college season is off to a winning start

After taking the year off to focus on other ventures, Hanna and Haley Cavinder are back in Miami for their fifth college season. They led the Hurricanes on a historic Elite Eight run during their senior year and have similar expectations for the 2024-25 season.

The Cavinder twins made their official return on Monday when Miami won 78-53 against the Stetson Hatters. Haley Cavinder finished with 12 points and eight rebounds, while Hanna Cavinder scored nine points and added a team-high five assists.

The Hurricanes had a slow start to the game, but Miami coach Tricia Cullop was not worried about it, as she said in her postgame presser:

“I think we were stressing too much about trying to play perfect instead of just playing. We have a lot of new players that are learning how to play together. We’re developing chemistry, and that takes time.”

In an interview with The Miami Herald in August, Cullop said the Cavinder twins' return will play a crucial role for the Hurricanes.

"I’m thrilled to have both of them back," she said. "They were both part of the Elite Eight experience, and that’s a goal for us. They can show the rest of the players, 'This is how we do it.'

"They are two of the hardest workers I’ve ever been around. They’re in the gym at 6 or 6:30 in the morning and they’re leaders on the court.”

The Miami Hurricanes will next face Jacksonville on Monday, Nov. 11.
