The athlete from Bristol, Connecticut, was featured in an Instagram story uploaded by 'New Era Cap,' a global sports brand, representing culture, style, & self-expression since 1920. The former Huskies center was asked the question about what he does to enjoy time off the court. Clingan replied:

Dan Hurley raves about Donovan Clingan ahead of 2024 NBA Draft
With the 2024 NBA Draft on the horizon, UConn's Donovan Clingan is turning heads as one of the best prospects. The two-time national champion has had a college career to remember, making him a hot commodity for NBA teams looking to bolster their roster.
Huskies head coach Dan Hurley couldn't hold back his praise for Clingan during an appearance on “The Ryen Russillo Podcast.” Hurley couldn’t stop raving about Clingan's infectious personality.
"They're sad when he leaves," Hurley shared. "They're sad when he leaves the facility and the visits over, in the workouts over. Just because from a personality standpoint, and from the human element, he's just so impressive.” [00:56]
Hurley continued to emphasize Clingan's unique presence, stating:
“And he's just so filled with life and he's got such an incredible personality. So before you even get to the basketball background, you just bring in somebody into your organization that just kind of blows you away with the charisma and the pop that he brings with him.”
The Memphis Grizzlies are reportedly very interested in Clingan, believing he won't be available at their current ninth pick. The mock draft has them trading up with the Houston Rockets, offering picks nine, 39, and additional assets to secure Clingan.
