The 2024-25 college season has not started and USC star JuJu Watkins is already excited for her next year's teammates. Clackamas senior and one of the top recruits in the 2025 class, Jazzy Davidson, announced her commitment to the USC Trojans.

Watkins shared her excitement on Tuesday, reposting Davidson's commitment post on Instagram with a brief message on her IG story.

"td is a great day 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 #FTFO," Watkins wrote on her repost.

Watkins wrote "#FTFO" (Fight the F**k On) as a response to the new recruits' "fight on ✌🏽" statement as she announced her commitment. It is a common Trojans phrase used to motivate the players to give their best.

Jazzy Davidson's leaning towards the University of Southern California came after rejecting top schools like UCLA Bruins, UConn Huskies, TCU Horned Frogs and Duke Blue Devils.

The 6-foot-2 guard has varied skills that allow her to play from anywhere on the floor. With strong basics and outstanding footwork, Davidson will provide Lindsay Gottlieb with plenty of options. She has improved significantly in her defensive assignment over the previous year, allowing her to potentially make a two-way impact at USC next year.

JuJu Watkins is among the 50 most influential athletes

The USC guard rose to prominence after scoring 920 points last season, setting a new record. She averaged 27.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.6 blocks during her freshman season, giving her a chance to reach 1000 points had the Trojans not lost to the UConn Huskies in the Elite Eight.

Nevertheless, Watkins' freshman season was enough to make one of the biggest names in the sporting world, including coaches, analysts and other media entities.

Watkins was listed 27th on Sports Illustrated's list of 50 Most Influential Figures in Sports, released earlier this month. UConn’s Dan Hurley, Colorado’s Travis Hunter, Gamecocks’ Dawn Staley and LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson are the other Division I names mentioned.

LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Tiger Woods and Simone Biles are the global names that acquired the top spot.
