UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers is gearing up for her fifth season with the program. She came back last year after redshirting the 2022-23 campaign due to an ACL injury. She has two years of eligibility left, including one from the shortened 2020 campaign due to the pandemic, although this year is expected to be her last.

Apart from offseason training with her team, Paige Bueckers has also engaged herself in some pickup games with other collegiate players like LSU's Flau'jae Johnson. In a video posted by OvertimeWBB on Instagram, Bueckers can be seen pulling off a skillful move against her defender and scoring a bucket.

The move left Johnson in awe. She then commended Bueckers' skills and stated that she was an extraordinary talent and 'not real.'

"You're not real. That motherf***er is not real," Flau'jae Johnson said in the video.

Last season, Bueckers played in all 39 games and helped the Huskies to a 33-6 record while also winning the Big East tournament championship. UConn also qualified for the NCAA tournament and made it to the Final Four.

However, the Huskies were eliminated by the Iowa Hawkeyes and ended their run. Bueckers averaged 21.9 points on 53.0 percent shooting from the field, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.

Paige Bueckers opens up about having 'fun' during offseason world tour

Apart from training for the upcoming season, the 6-foot guard has also been traveling around the country. From attending the WNBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix to practicing in New York, she has kept herself busy.

One of her fan pages on TikTok posted an interview where she opened up about her traveling experiences during the offseason. Bueckers said that she had a lot of fun during her 'world tour' while also naming the favorite place she visited.

"It's been wild. The whole world tour has been super fun. I've got, this is my first real offseason in college where I've been healthy. I'm not in one place doing rehab. So, it's been really fun. It's a mix of business and fun. My West Coast trip was extremely fun," Bueckers said. "I really enjoyed LA for the ESPYs, but I'll say Phoenix for the WNBA All-Star was my favorite stop."

Entering the upcoming season at full strength, Bueckers is expected to lead the Huskies to a national championship. Can they dethrone Dawn Staley's South Carolina Gamecocks and win the title?
