Azzi Fudd and the UConn Huskies are in Nassau, Bahamas, where they participated in the two Baha Mar Women's Championship games. The Huskies played against Oregon State on Monday and won 71-52. Their final championship game against Ole Miss was on Wednesday and they won 73-60.

After the hard-earned victories, the UConn Huskies took some time off, visiting the beach. They shared the photos from the day on Instagram on Friday, with the caption:

"Made some new friends on our beach day."

Azzi Fudd caught fans' attention with her bright pink bikini and they responded by complimenting her.

Azzi Fudd reveals the Bahamas trip helped build a bond with Sarah Strong

Azzi Fudd's time on the court was largely restricted due to back-to-back injuries. After a year on the sidelines due to a torn ACL, Fudd returned to the court on Nov. 20, against Farleigh Dickinson.

After Wednesday's game, Fudd revealed in a press conference that she was able to build a better relationship with No. 1 freshman recruit, Sarah Strong, thanks to being away from home.

"I was just telling Paige (Bueckers) and everyone. I'm roommates with Sarah (Strong) and I feel like we bonded so much on this trip, just forcing us to live together for these few days. That goes a long way on the court. I just feel like I know her a lot better.
"I think also getting to spend this time in such an amazing place other than Storrs with the great weather and getting to bond with each other in situations that we wouldn't usually. I just think if you can get to know your teammates well off the court, then you can only be a better teammate on the corner for that."

Fudd also shared that her transition to playing has been easy and jokingly speculated that the Bahamas could play a role in it.

“My body feels really great," she said. "I didn’t feel bad by any means after the first game, but I felt even better waking up this morning. I thought, since I played more minutes, I might be a little more sore.
"I don’t know if it’s the Bahamas weather, who knows, but I felt great this morning, I felt great today (at practice). So I’m really excited about how things are going."

The UConn Huskies' next game is against Holy Cross on Tuesday.
