College basketball world was left worried over a recent video of former Duke star Kyle Singler that surfaced on Tuesday. Singler posted an Instagram video where he was seen talking erratically, sparking concerns over his well-being.
"Every day, sh*t is being thrown my way," Singler said. "I have been mistreated and abused, neglected, made into a mental example. And I fear for my life every day. And people in my community make me look out as if I’m going to be someone that’s going to be a problem and make things difficult for people when I’m only trying to be helpful."
On Instagram, College Sports Only sent their prayers and wishes for his recovery.
Fans also voiced their concerns offering their support to the former NBA player.
"Prayers for this man," one fan said.
"Prayers for this man, mental health or lack of can really turn someone down a dark road. Hope he gets the support and love he's seeking," another fan said.
"Step out for a minute and get well. Treat it like you’re injured in sports and rehab it. Absolutely no shame in the game. Be good bro," a fan said.
Meanwhile, some users have expressed concern over the substance use.
"That's Meth," one fan said.

"bro needa quit hitting that stem," another fan said.
Kyle Singler's college career at Duke
Kyle Singler, a 6-foot-8 former player, spent four seasons at Duke University where he had a remarkable collegiate career. He recorded his career-high 17.7 points alongside 7.0 rebounds points per game as a junior during the 2009-10 season.
Singler joined Duke after attending South Medford High in Medford, Oregon, where he averaged 29.3 ppg and 10.6 rpg in his senior year. He was an immediate hit at Duke, being named the ACC Rookie of the Year in 2008 and earned a spot in the Third-team All-ACC as a freshman.
There was speculation about him entering the 2008 NBA draft but he denied it.
"I didn’t give the NBA any thought; I know I’m not ready. I need to mature both physically and mentally, I want to get stronger and quicker, and I want to work on learning how to play the game."
Kyle Singler entered the draft after his senior year in 2011 and was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 33rd overall pick.
