Unlike her ex-teammates, Kate Martin and Caitlin Clark, former Iowa Hawkeyes star Gabbie Marshall decided not to pursue basketball as her profession. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Health and Human Psychology from Iowa and is preparing to pursue her master's.
Despite not being in the WNBA with her friends, Gabbie Marshall is enjoying her life on her terms. And she and her boyfriend Spencer Touro are making sure to make several memories as they continue their journey together.
Marshall reshared a story her boyfriend posted on Instagram. In the story we see the couple posing on a sunny morning as they headed out for a morning jog together. The ex-Iowa star reshared the story while showing some love to Spencer.
"The best running partner," Gabbie Marshall wrote with a kiss emoji.
As per his Instagram bio, Spencer Touro works as a personal trainer in West Beach after graduating from the University of Iowa. He and Marshall made their relationship official last year and frequently pose with each other on social media.
Last season in her final campaign with the Hawkeyes, Marshall was successful in emerging as the Big Ten tournament champions. They reached the finals of the NCAA tournament, but unfortunately, they lost the national title game to Dawn Staley's South Carolina Gamecocks. Marshall finished her final season averaging 6.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
Gabbie Marshall goes on a hiking adventure with boyfriend Spencer Touro
Apart from preparing for her master's, the former Iowa basketball star is making memories with her boyfriend. They recently embarked on a hiking trip together on the Bowling Creek Trail.
Spencer Touro shared the adventures on his Instagram where he posted snaps of their trek as well as them enjoying a picnic together. He accompanied one of the photos with the caption, "Life is good." It looks like he and his girlfriend are content with their relationship and journey together.
