The first look at Paige Bueckers' exclusive Nike sneakers has had college basketball fans going wild. The UConn senior guard became the first NCAA player to get her own player exclusive shoes from Nike.
On Thursday, Overtimewbb shared a first glimpse of Bueckers' Nike GT Hustle 3 kicks on Instagram.
The shoes come in an eye-catching colorway of a vibrant blend of light blue, purple and white. It features Bueckers' logo on the back heel area on the right shoe and quotes "Be You, Be Great" on the left.
The upper part has a textured mesh in light blue, with the iconic Nike swoosh in dark purple on the sides. The midsole is white with speckled detailing, while the outsole is a mix of purple and white.
College hoop fans were smitten as they flooded the comments section expressing their excitement along with praise for the fresh design.
"These are freaking sickkkkk omg," one fan wrote.
"I don’t even play basketball and I want them," another fan commented.
"The Shoe Is Unreal🔥🔥💙💙🤩🤩," one fan said.
"Colorway is really nice. Imma cop," a fan wrote, impressed by the mix of light blue and purple colorway.
"Don't need them but i'm getting them. Anything for pookie p 🤭," one user chimed in.
One fan wasn't satisfied with the design and suggested modeling Paige Bueckers' shoes after Kobe Bryant's signature sneaker line.
"Get rid of that bubble for the knees!! 🙏🏽 Go towards the Kobe’s stabilization," the fan commented.
Bueckers' GT Hustle 3 was initially scheduled to release on Sep. 12, but the launch date has been pushed back to Dec. 7. According to Sole Retriever, the expected price for the sneakers is $190.00.

UConn's Paige Bueckers rocked a pink top and black puffer jacket styled with black pants and the Nike Vomero 5 sneakers as she glided through the ad campaign on an electric scooter.
On Wednesday, the reigning Big East player shared a BTS clip of the commercial she shot earlier this month.
Paige Bueckers signed an NIL deal with Nike last fall.
"I am blessed and honored to announce my partnership with Nike," Paige said. "Joining the Nike family is a childhood dream come true. I can't wait to see what we accomplish together on and off the court."
Nike's deal with JuJu Watkins adds her to the brand's roster of top emerging women's basketball talents, alongside standouts like Bueckers and Caitlin Clark.
