Haley Cavinder joined fans in welcoming her twin Hanna Cavinder's boyfriend Carson Beck to the Miami Hurricanes. The former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback decided to continue his college career by transferring to the Canes, announcing the update through an Instagram post on Friday.
The post featured the QB in Miami's uniform with "committed" and "305 bound" (primary area code for Miami) written on the photo.
Haley congratulated Beck by dropping multiple comments on the post.
"Welcome to the good life," Haley wrote.
"That's more like it," Haley commented
Beck, who is rehabbing from elbow surgery (UCL), will take over Cam Ward's role on Mario Cristobal's roster. Ward will be part of the 2025 NFL draft in April and is expected to be an early first-round pick. Beck had earlier declared for the draft; however, he entered the transfer portal on Thursday.
He brings five years of college football experience. This season, Beck went 290 of 448 for 3,485 passing yards, 58 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Beck also has an 88.4% winning record as a starter (23-3) and two NCAA championships.
Carson Beck will not be able to attend college with girlfriend Hanna Cavinder
Haley and Hanna Cavinder's endorsement for Miami might have factored in on Carson Beck's decision to move to the Hurricanes. However, the twins will be out of the Canes by the time Beck plays for the team.
Hanna and Haley Cavinder are in their final year of eligibility. They briefly left college basketball after the end of the 2022-23 season to pursue other business ventures but returned to action last summer.
The twins are battling to give the Hurricanes a notable spot in the ACC. They helped the team to an 11-1 season start but have since lost three consecutive conference games. They are 13th in the conference.
