UConn star Paige Bueckers is back on the hardwood floor and was seen practicing once again on social media. And while she prepares to play her last season of college hoops, Bueckers is also busy hyping up her former teammate, Nika Muhl, on Instagram.
The former Huskies star uploaded a series of edgy outfits on social media. Muhl wore a lime green and yellow colored denim culottes and paired it with a same-colored halter neck top. She also added the caption:
"Extraterrestrial 👽"
Bueckers got her pun game on in the comments, as she got in a one-liner in reference to Muhl's caption.
"Your style is out of the world," wrote Paige Bueckers.
Her outfit snaps also received comments from other members of the UConn squad, who wrote:
"i like your glasses nik," commented Ice Brady.
"fashionista," chimed in Aubrey Griffin.
Even though Muhl made a transition to the WNBA, she often gets such kind of appreciative compliments from her old teammates.
Breanna Stewart shared her one wish for Paige Bueckers for the upcoming season
Paige Bueckers will return for her final season of college basketball and will look to win the 2025 NCAAW championship title. Bueckers and the Huskies had one of their most successful seasons last year after going through a tough time.
The team had first suffered a devastating blow when Bueckers had to redshirt because of an ACL tear she suffered in 2022. Then Azzi Fudd also tore her ACL last year, keeping her out of the season.
While talking to the LSU star, Flau'jae Johnson, on the "Best of Both Worlds" podcast, UConn great Breanna Stewart shared her hopes for the Bueckers and Fudd this season:
"Paige, Azzi. Excited to see how they're going to handle this year because they dealt with tons of injuries. Hoping that they can just be healthy and get back to playing basketball," Stewart said.
Bueckers is ready to take charge after the departure of Nika Muhl and Aaliyah Edwards to the WNBA. The 2021 Naismith Player of the Year is expected to play once again with Azzi Fudd and her other teammates and contend for another title.
