UConn Huskies' Paige Bueckers continues to hype her former teammates and this time it was Nika Muhl and Olivia Nelson-Ododa. The two WNBA stars were picked by LeagueFits as their 2024 WNBA All-Star starters for their impeccable pre-game fashion.

Bueckers shared their pictures on her Instagram story, bringing more attention to the two players.

"You already know," she wrote for Muhl.
"UConn... the school of fashion?," Bueckers commented to Nelson-Ododa.

Paige Bueckers also caught fashion headlines last week with her outfit choice for the 2024 ESPY Awards. The senior guard chose a lilac KidSuper suit and paired it with white Jimmy Choo loafers. She finished her look with David Yurman jewelry and a French braided updo. In an interview with Highsnobiety, Bueckers said:

"My style is a mix of feminine and masculine."

When not slaying on the red carpet, Bueckers is preparing for the ultimate goal of any college athlete: the NCAA championship. Nika Muhl seemingly made a prediction for her former teammate's upcoming season when she said (via The Mirror US):

"I'm expecting a national championship, but if you ask me every year that I was in college, I was expecting a national championship. That's the standard. That's how it is at UConn.
"It's always the expectation, no matter what team you have, no matter how many players you have on the court, that's the standard that we practice upon and that we play upon at the end of the day," she added.

Paige Bueckers prepares for a tough year without her core partners, Muhl and Edwards

The UConn Huskies had a difficult season last year since the majority of their players were unavailable due to injuries. Paige Bueckers, Nika Muhl and Aaliyah Edwards led the team, reaching the Final Four before being taken down by the Iowa Hawkeyes.

With Muhl and Edwards now in the WNBA, the responsibility falls solely on Bueckers.

“It’s crazy because I feel like I don’t have Nika, I don’t have Aaliyah, so it’s all on me,” she said (via Hartford Courant). “It’s mostly responsibility. I’m taking that responsibility and I’m doing it with pride and making sure I’m leading these young guys, being a voice for them, teaching, communicating, also leading by example.”

Paige Bueckers is also preparing for her potential final season at Storrs and winning a championship is crucial before she transitions to the WNBA. She is projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft.
