UConn star Paige Bueckers clearly prefers her blonde locks but reveals which color she would dye her hair 

Paige Bueckers and her UConn teammates recently signed an NIL deal with a haircare brand. She changed her hair color for the shoot, from her famous blonde tresses to bubblegum pink.

When asked which color she would choose if she had to dye her hair permanently, she said:

"Maybe like a lavender purple. That's my favorite color. Oh, wait, permanent? Hold on. I love my blonde."

Buckers was spotted in a lavender-pink suit at the 2024 ESPY Award.

Fans even started coming up with conspiracy theories about Paige Bueckers and her fondness for the color. College hoops fans believe that she is secretly hinting at getting picked by the Golden State Valkyries.

The UConn Huskies guard will play her final season of college basketball this year. Fans and analysts believe that the Geno Auriemma-led Huskies are the favorites for the 2025 NCAAW championship game. Her performances over the years have compelled many to put her on their list of top-five picks in the 2025 WNBA draft.

Although there are several spots where Bueckers could land, fans have linked her to the Golden State Valkyrie more than any other team. It all started when she was photographed while promoting Gatorade. In the picture, purple droplets of sweat were edited onto her face, hinting at her future pro home.

Additionally, she once admired the colorway of the newly unveiled name, logo, and color scheme of the team.

When Paige Bueckers appeared on SFGATE's "A Touch More," she was asked about her opinion on the chatter:

“Lavender purple was always my favorite color. Obviously, the Valkyries latched on to that color, too,” Bueckers said, as per SFGATE. “It just happened to be that way.”

“It’s funny to see everybody trying to manifest me going there. It’s all love, though. It’s really funny. I laugh at a lot of it. It’s really cool.”

The Valkyries will have the right to the No. 1 pick and might just go for her. That would send the fans into a tizzy, and she might pick it as the perfect moment to dye her hair lavender purple!
