Team USA gymnast Simone Biles is the top draw of the 2024 Paris Olympics due to her stunning routines and eleven-year winning streak. After becoming the first female to perform the Yurchenko double pike vault routine at an international competition, she won the Gold medal for the all-round event with a score of 15.7666.

Biles pulled out of events during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics to deal with mental health issues, a decision that was scrutinized in some sections of the country's media at the time.

After Biles' recent Gold medal win, UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers showed her appreciation for the world-class athlete's accomplishment. ‘Paige Buckets’ reposted an Instagram graphic displaying the top three gymnasts from the event.

It was captioned:

"Gods timing is never off," Bueckers wrote.

The graphic stated:

"This podium has a Gold medalist who had mental health struggles and the twisties, a Silver medalist who's had not 1, not 2, but 3 ACL tears and a Bronze medalist who's in remission from kidney disease. And it's all their second Olympic AA medal. Wow."

Simone Biles continues to make history

At the Paris 2024 Olympics, Simone Biles won her second Gold medal in the all-around event and her ninth overall medal, cementing her legacy among the modern Olympic greats.

Not only that, the 27-year-old made history by becoming the first gymnast to win a non-consecutive all-around Olympic title, with all past 12 winners being teenagers.

While speaking to reporters after earning her second Gold medal, Biles revealed what her 'goat' necklace means to her.

"It's a little ode... a lot of people love it. They always call me the GOAT, so I thought it would be really special if I got one made," Biles said. The haters hate it, but I like that even more. It's just a special part of me that I have here. In the [athletes'] village, I have a stuffed goat. Just to get a reminder, like 'You can go out there, you can do it. You've done it before. So let's go."

Simone Biles ranks among the finest gymnasts in the sport's history and is one of the most renowned faces at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
