Paige Bueckers took part in a rapid-fire session on Monday alongside renowned stylist Britanny Hampton for StockX. The duo answered questions about their style inspirations, ideal sneaker designs and overrated trends alongside a few basketball-themed questions.

When asked about the best active WNBA player from the 2024 season, Bueckers did not hesitate to name NBA 2K25 cover athlete A'ja Wilson.

"I would probably say, A'ja Wilson's going crazy this season," Bueckers said as Hampton leaned toward Diana Taurasi in an all-time scenario.

As the 2024 WNBA season began, Caitlin Clark was considered an MVP candidate. She went through an acclimatization process but has since found her feet and is one of the top contenders for the Rookie of the Year award.

Wilson, meanwhile, leads the WNBA in scoring (27.2 points per game). She also averages 11.9 rebounds and a career-best 1.8 steals and 2.8 blocks. She has the second-best shooting efficiency (52.7%).

The WNBA is on a mid-season break due to the 2024 Paris Olympics, where A’ja Wilson led Team USA to its eighth consecutive gold medal and earned the tournament MVP title.

The second half of the regular season resumes on Friday.

Paige Bueckers could be the face of Team USA women's roster in future

Unlike the men’s team, the American women dominated on the court in the Paris Olympics until the gold medal game against France, where they eked out a one-point win. However, they could have a revamped roster for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Bueckers is slated to be one of the most-watched NCAA women’s players this season. She is also touted as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft.

Bueckers has long ties with the national program through her stints in the age-restricted FIBA tournaments.

Her Team USA journey began with a gold medal run in the 2017 FIBA Americas U16 Championship. The following year, she appeared in the Latvia U17 International Invitational, 3x3 Spokane Hoopfest Youth Olympic Games, 3x3 National Championship and U17 World Cup.

In 2019, she was part of the undefeated U19 World Cup team and a silver medalist on the 3x3 U18 National Championship roster.
