UConn Huskies guard Paige Bueckers flexed her LEGO skills while also offering a peek into coach Geno Auriemma's personality. Bueckers shared a finished set from LEGO based on Pixar's movie "Up." Comparing coach Auriemma to the protagonist in the movie, Carl Fredricksen, the guard wrote:

"Coach in his natural habitat."

The pictures included figurine versions of Carl Fredricksen, Wilderness explorer Russell and Dug the Dog, along with an inside look into the house.

This is not the first time that Paige Bueckers discussed Geno Auriemma this month. During her appearance at the "Geno for the Kids" charity event, Bueckers chatted with the attendees and explained the two different sides of coach Auriemma:

"You want the nice version of coach, come to the games, four tickets. You want the real version of coach, you come to practice."

Paige Bueckers attended the event along with her teammates, Azzi Fudd, Aubrey Griffen, Ice Brady, Morgan Cheli, and more. Geno Auriemma and his players were photographed seated on his Tesla Cybertruck and the pictures found their way to the internet, quickly going viral.

Geno Auriemma predicts a tough WNBA rookie year for Paige Bueckers

Paige Bueckers announced her decision to return for her red-shirt senior year as her fellow classmen Aaliyah Edwards and Nika Muhl moved on to the WNBA. She is predicted to join them next year and is already a projected No. 1 in the 2025 WNBA draft.

Making predictions for the rookie year, Geno Auriemma said Paige Bueckers will have a tough time just like the 2024 No.1 pick, Caitlin Clark. The Indiana Fever guard is enduring a rough time in the league as she is defended by extreme physicality by all players. Here's what he said on "The Dan Patrick Show":

"I think her game--the subtleties of her game, would translate. However, her rookie year, she will get it as bad as Caitlin's getting it right now. Because that's just the world, man. That's just the world, and you gotta learn to live with it. But yes, she will have a target on her back as well."

However, Bueckers has one advantage over Clark, as coach Auriemma explained:

"Her [Bueckers] game is different than Caitlin's, in that she's more of a distributor: get the ball... you know. Her game is more like Sue Bird's game. Alright? And not that Sue had the physicality to play in the league, but obviously she's the best point guard ever. I think her game--the subtleties of her game, would translate. "
