The 25th-ranked UConn Huskies were able to hang onto their lead as they walked away with a 76-65 road win against the Texas Longhorns. The Huskies were able to play well offensively and were led by Alex Karaban’s 21 points as he was one of four UConn players in double figures.
The Huskies (7-3) continue to shake off their Thanksgiving tournament woes and look sharp in their first official road game of the season. The Longhorns (7-2) dropped their first home game of the season and outside of Arthur Kaluma and Tre Johnson, the program did not get much offense to keep up despite the solid second half of the game.
