Cavinder twins Haley and Hanna shared a video on their Instagram story on Saturday. The twins talked about how unrealistic it was for women to maintain hitting the gym and diet for a whole year.
"Had a quick reaction for pilates just because, good morning. I wanted to come on here and talk to you guys about something. So, for the new year I feel like a lot of girls or anyone in general will do, like, a full 360 when it comes to, like, getting back in the gym, hitting some type of diet, like, right away," Haley said.
"I think that's, like, great, but I feel it's really unrealistic to maintain for the whole 365 days, just because, like, you're doing a whole 360."
Hanna suggested making small adjustments to diets and routines in order to maintain realistic fitness goals for the year. They also recommended giving time for recovery.
Cavinder twins in action as Miami suffers second loss of the new year
The Miami women’s basketball team suffered a 74-56 road loss to Louisville in KFC Yum! Center on Thursday evening. The Cavinder twins featured in the game, with Haley scoring a team-high 19 points and adding six rebounds in the contest. Hanna scored five points.
The Hurricanes took an early 2-0 lead from Cameron Williams' layup. But they were quickly outscored by the Cardinals, who posted seven points to lead the contest 7-2.
Louisville maintained its lead throughout the first quarter. However, Miami attempted a comeback and even managed to reduce the deficit to seven points with 6:47 before halftime. But Louisville made a 15-6 run and closed out the half with a 43-27 lead.
Miami eventually lost 74-56. The loss now means the Hurricanes have an 11-3 overall record and are 1-2 in ACC play.
Up next, Miami will return home to host Virginia Tech at Watsco Center this Sunday.
