Flau'jae Johnson, the star guard for the LSU Lady Tigers, was busy the entire off-season as she was seen attending events and releasing new music. The 20-year-old was welcomed on "The Link Up," powered by Xfinity and REVOLT, by producer Hit-Boy. The show's aim is to showcase the talents of Black rappers and upcoming artists along with creating unforgettable performances.

$1.2m NIL-valued (per On3) star performed on the show with upbeat energy and confidence in the booth with songs like "I Can't Break."

Johnson also announced that she had teamed up with rapper Lil Wayne for a track and was going to release it very soon.

Flau'jae Johnson once talked about the struggles of being a rapper and a hooper

The LSU star player had one of her most successful seasons with the Lady Tigers. Even though the team was edged out of the race to win the NCAAW championship title, they had a huge impact on the entire tournament. Alongside Angel Reese, Johnson was one of the star players on the Kim Mulkey-led squad.

After the team defeated the UCLA Bruins in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAAW tournament, the hooper/rapper talked about the struggles she faces as a talented basketball player and as an up-and-coming rapper.

“I’ve been focused. I’ve been in the gym. I’ve been locked in. Every day I’m in the gym putting up reps, every day," Johnson said during a courtside interview with Holly Rowe.
"Because I know people are going to discredit me because I rap and I hoop, so I know I got to go extra hard. So that’s what I do, I be in the gym.”

Flau'jae Johnson will return to play for the Tigers for another season. She will fill the position of Angel Reese, who departed for the WNBA.
