Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper are proving to be a formidable duo for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. In the first half of their matchup against Columbia on Monday, with 6:51 remaining on the clock, Harper delivered a perfectly timed alley-oop from beyond the three-point line. Bailey soared to meet the pass and finished with a powerful two-handed slam, electrifying the crowd.

Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper delivered standout performances to lead the Rutgers Scarlet Knights to a dominant 91-64 victory at home. Bailey impressed with 24 points and eight rebounds in 31 minutes, shooting 11-of-18 from the field.

Meanwhile, Harper recorded a triple-double, contributing 16 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds in 32 minutes on 6-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three-point range.

Rutgers asserted their physicality on the boards, outrebounding Columbia 41-29. Their ball movement was equally impressive, resulting in 26 assists and a team shooting percentage of 47%.0. The Scarlet Knights also took care of the ball, winning the turnover battle 14-4 while capitalizing on Columbia's mistakes to maintain control throughout the game.

The victory improved Rutgers to 8-5 on the season. The Scarlet Knights are averaging 79.7 points per game on 46.3% shooting overall and 33.6% from beyond the arc, outscoring opponents by a slim margin of 5.4 points. Defensively, they’ve excelled at creating stops, averaging 10.8 stocks (steals and blocks combined) compared to 8.3 from their opponents.

Dylan Harper leads the team with 22.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Ace Bailey is averaging 18.2 ppg and 7.6 rpg, while Jeremiah Williams adds 7.8 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 2.2 apg.

Rutgers will open the new year on Thursday against the Indiana Hoosiers at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, with tipoff set for 8:30 p.m. ET.
