Before the gymnastics season starts in full mode, Livvy Dunne and her boyfriend, the star Pittsburgh pitcher Paul Skenes, went on a romantic vacation to Florida. From there, she uploaded a makeup-free video while showing off a unique talent while lying on her bed.
She lip-syncs to the viral "I Love Your Daughter" audio from the hit show "Gilmore Girls" and at the end shows her talent, which was hooking her index finger straight.
"its a talent"
Many fans tried to imitate Dunne, but they failed and commented:
"Me just realizing I can’t do that"
"I tried and failed lmao"
"i can’t do it now but i will be back to this post in one month i’ll be able to do it i promise"
Livvy Dunne talked about returning for the fifth and final season of college athletics
The New Jersey native was homeschooled by her mother to focus on gymnastics, oftentimes missing out on social events like proms, field trips and family vacations. She became a gymnast because:
“I liked how I was in control of my own destiny," she said via Flaunt. "I loved the thrill of learning new skills and improving myself every single practice. I fell in love with trying to be the best.”
After the end of her fourth year of college gymnastics, which ended in the Lady Tigers winning their first-ever NCAA championship title, she decided to opt for her last year of college eligibility. Livvy Dunne uploaded a video on Instagram in July to announce that she was not done yet.
“To leave one more year of eligibility on the table?” she said, as per Flaunt, “That felt wrong to me.”
Along with being an LSU gymnast, Livvy Dunne enjoys the fame of being the most popular college athlete on social media. She also has the second-highest NIL valuation of $4 million, as per On3 Sports.
“I started social media because I loved to do it. I would have had to sacrifice my gymnastics career to make money or quit social media [to continue gymnastics]. But I didn’t have to give up either one,” Dunne added.
Livvy Dunne competed in nine meets, scoring 9.857 on floor exercise and 9.838 on uneven bars. Her personal best of 9.900 was set during the podium challenge in March and again in the NCAA Fayetteville Regional in April.
