High expectations are riding on the players and coaches as they strive for glory with three consecutive titles. Coach Hurley, ever the taskmaster, ran the practice with his trademark intensity.

“From running the stairs after making mistakes that are unacceptable to just the authentic look at the pace and intensity of it, I think it was a good chance for the fans to see what the team looks like,” said Hurley.

Following the practice, players participated in an autograph signing session, a nod to the name, image and likeness era in college athletics.

Dan Hurley's 3-peat mission to follow same path from last season

The UConn Huskies are eyeing a historic three-peat in the upcoming NCAA season. After clinching back-to-back championships, Dan Hurley and his team are preparing to follow the same path that brought them success.

If they achieve this feat, the Huskies will be the first program since the legendary UCLA Bruins of the late 1960s and 70s to win three consecutive titles. In an interview with College Hoops Today's Jon Rothstein, Hurley laid out the importance of consistency.

"I just think that we need to approach this upcoming season kind of the same way that we just approached this past season," Hurley said. "I think I do a great job of rooting out complacency, so that’s what we’re focused on."

Hurley also credited his coaching staff for its crucial role in UConn's success. Associate head coach Kimani Young, along with assistants Tom Moore and Luke Murray, have put in the hard work to build a winning culture.

As they prepare for the new season, all eyes will be on the Huskies to see if they can achieve the elusive three-peat.
