After his show-stopping performances at Nike EYBL, all eyes are on Kiyan Anthony as he enters his senior season at Long Island Lutheran High School. The son of NBA great Carmelo Anthony, Kiyan was ranked the No. 1 recruit out of New York by ESPN in the 2025 graduating class earlier this month.

After enjoying his summer vacation with a trip to Japan with his mother, La La Anthony, and another one to Paris for the Summer Olympics with his father, Kiyan Anthony is back at the training facility practicing for his upcoming season. La La shared a clipping of her son's practice session on her Instagram Story on Thursday.

Kiyan Anthony has been on a consistent run through high school and has attracted offers from multiple major schools. In July, he narrowed his list to six, with the finalists being Florida State, Auburn, Ohio State, USC, Rutgers, and his father, Carmelo's alma mater, Syracuse.

With the senior season starting in winter, Kiyan Anthony is expected to make his final decision in October/November. While fans expect him to pick the Orange, the young star is more invested in finding a team that fits him the best while keeping his core values.

“I’m looking for good coaching, and I want to play for a good team. I want to win. I feel like all the schools that I am talking to have a winning culture. I’ll want to go somewhere that is family-oriented too,” Kiyan Anthony said.

La La, Kiyan Anthony's mother, makes big strides in Hollywood

After her roles in "Power," "Unforgettable" and "Grown-ish," La La Anthony is set to make a leap in her acting career. On Wednesday, the TV personality announced that she will be starring in the on-screen adaptation of her best-selling book, "The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex and Happiness."

Titled "Group Chat," the Hulu series will be produced by Kim Kardashian, with "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris developing the show.

Sharing the news on her Instagram, La La Anthony wrote:

"The secret is out!! 😱Super excited @kimkardashian and @kenyabarris it’s happening!!! This show is about to be CRRAAZZZYYY! Everything you and your friends talk about in love, life, friendships and relationships! Can’t wait!! Thank you @bslater9 for seeing the vision and putting this together! Let’s gooooooooo @hulu!!!!"

La La Anthony's current credits include "BMF" on Starz and "The Chi" on Showtime.
