Kiyan Anthony produced a dazzling display to tip off the senior season of his high school basketball career. A top shooting guard prospect in the Class of 2025, Carmelo Anthony's son shined in the third edition of the Aces Heart & Hustle Classic in New York, leading Long Island Lutheran High to a narrow 85-83 victory over Putnam Science Academy on Saturday.

In a showdown between Anthony and Ben Ahmed, two top-80 prospects (according to ESPN), Anthony finished with 26 points and was named co-MVP along with teammate Kayden Mingo, who finished with the same amount of points.

With Carmelo Anthony in attendance, Kiyan displayed his immense skill set. He made impressive shots throughout the game, including a 3-pointer from the corner. He also had no problems making contested jumpers, doing so on a few occasions.

Kiyan almost recorded a steal, showing good effort in defense by putting pressure on Putnam Science's backcourt. He got ample support from Mingo, who also impressed with his consistent shooting.

However, Long Island Lutheran needed to hang on in the final seconds as Putnam Science failed to make a 3-pointer with less than three seconds to go.

Kiyan Anthony predicted to go to Syracuse

Kiyan Anthony has made a name for herself at Long Island Lutheran High and is currently the 34th overall prospect, according to 247Sports. He has received offers from some of the nation's top colleges, and he narrowed his list down to six on July 25.

His list consists of Ohio State, Rutgers, Auburn, USC, FSU and his father's alma mater, Syracuse. Among massive speculation on his future, his trainer, Chris Brickley believes he could continue the Anthonys' legacy with the Orange.

"I think he might go to Syracuse, too," Brickley said. "He's a top 30 player in the country, he's 6-(foot)-6, 6-7onow. I've seen him from a little kid; now he's one of the top players in the country. He's gonna be really good."

Kiyan recently made an official visit to USC along with his parents, teasing a move to the Trojans in an Instagram post last month. Syracuse will be the favorite to land the talented teenager, but nothing can be certain until the day he signs on the dotted line.
