Shelomi Sanders, the daughter of Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders, shared an intimate and inspiring moment on Instagram on Sunday.

In the posted video, Shelomi prayed before a training session with her personal coach. The reel has garnered attention for its display of faith, discipline and commitment to excellence, reflecting Shelomi’s values.

Shelomi has averaged 1.4 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 5.1 minutes per game for Alabama A&M this season. She continues to carve out her path, balancing the pressures of being part of a high-profile family with her individual aspirations.

Deion Sanders is a two-time Super Bowl champion and a Hall of Famer. These values resonate deeply with Shelomi, who approaches her journey with the same passion and determination that have defined her father’s illustrious career.

Shelomi Sanders embraces new beginnings with New Year's goals

Shelomi Sanders started the new year with a renewed focus on her health and fitness. In a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, she outlined her goals for 2025, emphasizing the importance of taking care of her body and pushing herself to new heights.

“I don’t know about y’all, but this new year, I have some goals,” Shelomi said. “I want to focus more on taking care of my body and making sure that I’m 110%. It involves stretching more, recovery, lifts and yoga. No better way to start with my new savage.”

The video captured Sanders in a training facility with determination as she embarked on a workout regimen. Her energy and commitment were evident as she performed a mix of strength exercises, yoga stretches and functional movements.

Sanders' message resonates with fans and followers, with many inspired by her proactive mindset and dedication. Her current environment is an answered prayer from when she opened up about her decision to enter the transfer portal in April 2024, in search of extra minutes.

Having already made more appearances with the Bulldogs (14) than with two previous teams (seven at Colordao and Jackson State), the new resolution is a step to solidifying her status with the Bulldogs.
