Fans are split on their preference between Cooper Flagg and Ace Bailey, two top recruits in the Class of 2024. Flagg, the No. 1 overall, joined Duke, while Bailey (No. 2) will play for Rutgers.

Made Hoops YouTube shared a video five days ago, asking fans on the streets to choose between the two elite prospects.

The YouTube Shorts starts with a young fan facing the camera and making his pick, "Cooper Flagg."

A woman in the back interrupted him, calling out:

"Cooper Flagg, hands down," she said keeping eye contact with the camera while moving backwards. "And he reclassed up, so let's make it make sense."
"I'm gonna go with Ace, Ace Bailey," another young man holding his shoes said.
"I think Cooper Flagg will," one fan gave his take.

Another man appeared on the camera out of nowhere from the side, saying:

"I gotta go with Ace because everyone is going with Cooper so," he said. "You know what I'm saying."

One fan probably gave the best answer, expressing how both players have special talents that will make an impact on their teams.

"I think Ace Bailey gonna put up better numbers. I think Cooper Flagg gonna have a better season and he's gonna win," the fan said.

Most people seem to favor Flagg overall, likely due to him being the top prospect, with some fans also going for Bailey.

"I can't lie I gotta go with the brother. I got Ace Bailey," a fan said with conviction.

Cooper Flagg and Ace Bailey: Who will be the No. 1 draft pick in 2025?

Similar to how they battle out to be the top prospects this year, it is likely that Flagg and Bailey will once again contend for the top spot in the 2025 NBA draft as well.

According to ESPN's initial mock draft, the Duke forward is projected to be the first overall pick, while the Rutgers guard is slotted right behind him at the second position.

Again, they have yet to play in college basketball, which could significantly impact their draft stock.

An NBA scout told Adam Zagoria of NJ.com that Bailey holds the potential to steal Flagg's No. 1 pick.

He's [among the] top-3 youth players in the world," the scout told Zagoria. "Everyone has Cooper Fever, [but] he will challenge Cooper for No. 1. "It's not clear cut."

Flagg averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for Montverde as a senior, whereas Bailey averaged 33.4 points, 15.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists at McEachern High.
