WATCH: Flau'jae Johnson's mom Kia Brooks shows how her "brats" keep her up all night

Kia Brooks, Flau'jae Johnson's mother, is a successful entrepreneur, TV personality, and brand influencer. However, she is also a mother and showed how challenging taking up such a responsibility can be.

Brooks shared a video on her Instagram story of the meal she was preparing for her kids, which kept her up all night. She captioned the post:

"My brats really have me up late night doing whatever they ask."

Brooks has five kids, including the rising women's basketball star Flau'jae and her eldest son, Tray, whom she had with her late partner, rapper Jason Johnson, also known as Camouflage. Kia is currently married to Ameen Brooks, and they share three sons.

Apart from basketball, Flau'jae Johnson is rising in the music industry, and her mother, Kia Brooks, is supporting her all the way. The 'momager' took to her Instagram story to share Johnson's post on the song "Lone Survivor."

"Survivor," Brooks wrote in the caption.

"It's already written I'm Battling with it. It's Me That I Gotta Defeat. #MindOverMatter," Johnson captioned her post.

Johnson is one of No. 5 LSU's biggest stars. She is averaging 21.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists to lead the Tigers to an undefeated 13-0 run in the 2024-25 season. Johnson also scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out three assists as LSU demolished Seton Hall, 91-64, in the Basketball Hall of Fame women's showcase on Tuesday.

Outside the court, Johnson is trying to follow in the footsteps of Camouflage. The basketball star admitted that her father inspired her to join the industry.

"When I found out my dad was a rapper, that just became my favorite artist, and I realized he was actually successful. Having those memories of my dad and his music and being able to connect with him through music, That's probably like my biggest inspiration in music," Johnson said in her interview with Joy Taylor for the "Like a Girl" show.

Her song, "Lone Survivor," is one of the tracks on her popular album, Beast of Both Worlds.
