They say fashion is pain and Haley Cavinder may have gotten a taste of it. The guard shared her 'Outfit Of The Day' video via her Instagram story on Saturday as she was heading to her mother, Katie Cavinder's birthday dinner.

Explaining each piece, Cavinder revealed that her black body suit is from Skims while her jeans are from Princess Polly. When trying to show off her Alexander McQueen sneakers, the guard lifted her leg, hitting it on the coffee table.

She then moved on, showing her SHEIN jacket and Prada purse. Hanna Cavinder also joined in to show her outfit. The twins opted to coordinate, and Hanna wore a similar black top and jeans, rounding it off with a bag from Dior. She struggled a bit with her jacket choice, first choosing a purple/magenta one before going with a tan.

In an interview with Sole Retriever in July, Hanna and Haley Cavinder spoke of her love for fashion and sneakers.

“We have very similar styles off the court and love a good sneaker look,” Hanna said.
"We have a very similar taste, but Hanna tends to go for more colors while I stick to neutrals,” Haley said. “We both love neutral sneakers, but if I’m wearing neutral colors, the pop of a color on a shoe is a really good look for sure.”

Hanna and Haley Cavinder making the most of their final college season

After a year away from basketball, Hanna and Haley Cavinder returned to Miami for their fifth year in April. They led the Hurricanes to the Elite Eight as seniors and hope to repeat it this time as well.

Haley Cavinder is leading the team, averaging 18.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists. She is shooting 47.8% from the floor but has struggled with her 3-point shooting, having made only 24.3% of the shots. Meanwhile, Hanna is averaging 7.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists.

The Cavinder twins are also influencers, balancing their growing social media and their basketball career. Commenting on this, Haley said:

“Social media allows us to showcase our style and what we’re wearing, both on and off the court,” Haley said. “We’re able to influence different sides of the audience, whether it’s sorority girls or basketball players."
“It’s great to see the trend of pregame fits and different styles being highlighted. It helps grow the game and brings more eyes to women’s basketball,” Hanna added.

The Miami Hurricanes are on an 11-3 run and will host Virginia Tech on Sunday.
