Hanna and Haley Cavinder were considered NIL queens when it was introduced in 2021. The twins fully capitalized on their brand and were reportedly taking home nearly $2 million at one point. In a TikTok video posted on Monday, Haley credited her sister, Hanna, for part of their business success.

Hanna first revealed that while Haley is the more competitive twin on the court, she is more reserved off it. This meant that Hanna's competitiveness in business shined through.

Haley Cavinder then explained more about their differences in approaching business ventures.

"Hanna's approach to business and my approach to business, we have the same common goal. But how we go about it is completely different. Like, she makes us go," Haley said. "Obviously, I play a huge part in it and I've gotten way better throughout the years.
"But I feel like in the past, I was very dependent on Hanna in the business way. Like she has to do all the video. But I've kind of loved it, started loving it way more. Just this whole job in general, started warming up to the idea of being a influencer and just."

Hanna and Haley Cavinder played their first three years at Fresno State and moved to Miami in 2022 for its wider market reach. They signed multiple deals with brands like Grammarly, Champs Sports, Crocs, Celestial Tea, WWE and more. The twins are now in their final college season with the Hurricanes. Their NIL deals include Under Armour, GHOST, Stanley, Slate Milk and Hustle Beauty.

Haley Cavinder's Miami gains a winning start for her final season

During their last run with the Hurricanes, Hanna and Haley Cavinder led the team to its first Elite Eight game. This time, a similar feat is expected from the twins, and they are already off to a great start.

Haley is averaging 17.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. Miami is now 9-1, occupying the first spot in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Apart from being leaders on the court, Hanna and Haley are perfect role models to their younger teammates.

“They can show the rest of the players, 'This is how we do it,’" Miami coach Tricia Cullop said. "They are two of the hardest workers I’ve ever been around. They’re in the gym at 6 or 6:30 in the morning and they’re leaders on the court.”

The Hurricanes are set to take on Nevada next on Thursday.
