Iowa women's basketball star Lucy Olsen gave fans a sneak peek of how much fun she is having during the Christmas festivities. She posted a TikTok video of herself taking a mirror selfie as she transitioned from one set of Christmas-themed pajamas to another set.

"I been lovin my Christmas sets #transition," she captioned the video.

Olsen went off in Iowa's 92-86 win over in-state rival Northern Iowa before the break. She scored 21 points, six rebounds and seven assists in 34 minutes to lead the No. 22 Hawkeyes (10-2).

“Everyone just stayed together, we trust in each other and the coaches," Olsen said after the game, according to HAWKCENTRAL. "We got a few stops we needed and a few tough buckets. It was fun.”

Other standout players for Iowa include Addison O'Grady with 18 points, and Stuelke and Taylor McCabe with 15 apiece.

Jan Jensen talks about Lucy Olsen on Iowa's roster

With the trio of Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall gone, the Iowa women's basketball team was entering a new era. Lucy Olsen transferred from Villanova to lead the Hawkeyes this season. She finished as the third leading scorer in the nation after Clark and USC's JuJu Watkins last season.

The senior guard fit right in with Iowa, leading the Hawkeyes to an 8-0 start and a spot in the AP Top 25.

“She has an appreciation to be here,” Jensen said. “She gets to be a part of all of this. I love how she appreciates our home crowd so much.
“She came in as a big portal get, and she never acted like a big portal get. She came in and learned the lay of the land and always showed that humility. In the summer, showed why she was a portal get. She’s had a hard role because a lot of the spotlight is on her. She’s had to learn everything, just like a freshman."

However, Olsen's time at Iowa was not all that smooth as the Hawkeyes began to struggle after a strong start. Olsen was absent from three games due to an injury she sustained at a "freak accident" in early December. Iowa lost to Tennessee and Michigan State and has dropped to No. 24 in the rankings.

However, Olsen and the Hawkeyes will hope to improve on their winning streak when they meet the Purdue Boilermakers on Sunday.
