Lucy Olsen has enjoyed a dream start to life at Iowa. During the offseason, the Hawkeyes picked the ex-Villanova star from the transfer portal and tasked her with massive responsibility of filling in for the departing Caitlin Clark, whom the Indiana Fever made the top pick in this year's WNBA draft.
Olsen has lived up to the billing and then some, powering the Hawkeyes to 10 wins in their opening 12 games. While she is wearing her best smile on the court, she is also seemingly enjoying the holiday season off it, going by her latest social media activity.
On Christmas Eve, the Hawkeyes guard took to TikTok to share a heartwarming 13-second video featuring herself and her boyfriend, Grayson Herr. The former Trinity men's basketball star came down to Olsen's home, and the happy couple pulled out their best dance moves to the tune of Justin Bieber's 'Mistletoe'.

In addition to the matching pyjamas, Olsen also wore a navy blue throw, while Herr showed his love for the Cincinnati Bengals by sporting their beanie along with a light blue T-shirt.
Herr has also become a favorite among Olsen's family, with the Iowa guard sharing a story on Instagram where her boyfriend shared a happy moment with her father, Roland Olsen.
Lucy Olsen and Grayson Herr started dating in 2023, and they celebrated their one-year anniversary last month by sharing some of their most special moments on Instagram.
Herr graduated from Trinity this May with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematical Finance, and is currently an Associate Sales Representative with the Lincoln Financial Group in Dallas, Texas.
Lucy Olsen spearheads new era in Iowa women's basketball
Lucy Olsen has made an electric start to her senior season in college basketball, starting all but two games for the Hawkeyes. Across the 10 games she has played this season, she has averaged 18.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.1 assists, establishing herself as a key figure in Iowa's backcourt as they chase their maiden national championship in Jan Jensen's first season as head coach.
Despite their strong 10-2 start to the season, which includes a win over former No. 18 Iowa State, the Hawkeyes fell two spots to 24th in the latest update of the AP Top 25. They will be keen to make an impression in their Big Ten Conference opener on December 29, where they will face the Purdue Boilermakers at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena at 3:00PM ET.
