Kiyan Anthony, along with AJ Dybantsa and other recruits from the 2025 class, participated in the Slam Summer Classic Vol 6 in August. The event generated many viral moments, including the dunk challenge between Kiyan and Dybantsa and a group of players dancing together for a photoshoot.

On Friday, Slam shared another video from the event on Instagram. This time, the video featured Anthony, Dybantsa, Jake West and Meleek Thomas, showcasing their rapping skills with a freestyle rendition.

Kiyan Anthony is the No. 34 ranked player in the 2025 recruiting class, while AJ Dybantsa holds the No.1 spot. Both players are expected to make significant college decisions in the coming months, with Anthony set to announce his choice in October and Dybantsa in February.

Both players had an incredible summer in the Nike EYBL circuit. Kiyan Anthony was even named the No. 1 prospect from New York. AJ Dybantsa is considering Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, BYU, Kansas, Kansas State and North Carolina. Anthony, on the other hand, will choose from Rutgers, Syracuse, Auburn, Ohio State, Florida State and USC.

Kiyan Anthony could follow his father, Carmelo Anthony, to Syracuse

From 2002 to 2003, Carmelo Anthony played for the Syracuse Orange and led them to their only NCAA championship.

While he has shared that he is keeping an open mind about his choice, many predict that Kiyan will take after his father.

"I just like the atmosphere, you know, obviously my dad went there 20-something years ago, so I just like the atmosphere, I like the family environment," Anthony told ZagsBlog.
"The coaches, I feel like they're recruiting me for myself, and not just because of my father. That's what I like. I just feel like they're rebuilding and they're looking to get a winning team. I feel like I can help them do that if I was to go there."

While he has already taken a visit, Kiyan Anthony is scheduled to take one more and he commented on it:

"It was definitely crazy. Everything with my dad, everything named after him, out everything like that. So looking forward to taking a second visit and then nobody knows, I might could go there."
