Throughout the summer, Johnson has worked towards solidifying her musical career. The LSU guard's biggest achievement came early, a collaboration with rap icon Lil Wayne for the song "Came Out a Beast."

As Johnson's album gained traction, she began shooting for a music video with Lil Wayne in Los Angeles. In the meantime, Flau'jae Johnson also showcased her skills at the ESPYs and WNBA All-Star weekend.

Flau'jae Johnson's musical career has positively impacted her NIL valuation

Despite her music-oriented ventures this offseason, Johnson has remained committed to matters of the court.

She has dedicated hours each day to work on her game. Nevertheless, Johnson has carved out a dual career for herself. An indication is her NIL valuation this summer.

Flau’jae Johnson’s deal with Bazooka in April and another with Apple Cash helped her stock. However, her partnership with Lil Wayne has thursted her to having the second-best NIL valuation in women’s basketball.

According to On3, Johnson is estimated at $1.2 million, closely trailing Paige Bueckers’ $1.4 million. Johnson had taken the top spot this summer before Bueckers reclaimed it. Nevertheless, Johnson's extended ventures have played a significant role in her overall stock.

The LSU guards' negotiations are usually spearheaded by her mother Kia Brooks. She not only helped Flau'jae Johnson land her first major deal with Puma, Amazon and JBL but also rocketed her music career through a deal with Jay Z's label Roc Nation.
