LSU guard and emerging rapper Flau'jae Johnson has again made waves with her latest single, "Pop It." Johnson, sporting jersey number four, had an outstanding sophomore year for the Tigers.
Her exceptional performance earned her spots on the 2024 Albany 2 All-Region Team and the 2024 Second Team All-SEC. Making strides in the musical world, Flau'jae expressed her enthusiasm on Instagram.
"I am so excited to let y’all into my world. Juggling music and basketball hasn’t been the easiest journey for me, but it has definitely been the most rewarding. I love you all. This Project is gonna Change My Life and I can’t wait to experience this journey with y’all on June 28th."
“But for now I dropped ‘Pop It’ which is on the project so y’all can have something to listen to until it drops!! It’s out on ALL platforms and you might see a little surprise on the project when you go stream ‘Pop It.’”

Johnson has collaborated with Lil Wayne and has a distribution deal with Roc Nation. In a conversation with Overtime WBB, she talked about releasing a new podcast.
"Yeah, I got a podcast coming out real soon," Johnson said. "And I got my project, 'Best of Both Worlds,' it dropped in June. Super soon [podcast will come]."
Flau'jae Johnson had electrifying rap performance at NGO event
With an electrifying rap performance, Flau'jae Johnson captivated the audience at a Girls Inc. Atlanta event. This non-profit organization is dedicated to empowering girls and young women to be strong, smart and bold, fostering their skills and confidence to become community role models.
During the event, Johnson performed her hit song "AMF (Ain't My Fault)" featuring Memphis rapper NLE Choppa. This track has gained significant popularity, amassing over 825,000 streams on Spotify.
Johnson released her first single in 2020. She has made more than 12 songs since then, but "AMF (Ain’t My Fault)" is the most popular. She will release her “Best of Both Worlds” EP on June 28, which will be very exciting for her fans because it shows the different sides of her artistry. Johnson has showcased her talent on "The Rap Game" and "America's Got Talent."
Flau'jae Johnson's musical path is influenced by her late father, Jason Johnson, known as Camouflage, who was killed just months before her birth in 2003.
