LSU star Flau'jae Johnson had a hilarious interaction with her former college rival Caitlin Clark during the WNBA All-Star night at the Footprint Center in Phoenix. Team WNBA won the game 117-109 against Team USA on Saturday.

Johnson was live on Instagram towards the end of the game when she shouted at Clark, calling her name.

"I think we're about to win," Clark said. "Want to put my jersey on and get out there?"

As Clark approached Johnson, who was sitting courtside, Johnson jokingly asked Clark for her jersey after she had offered it first. The Indiana Fever guard did not respond properly and left for the court.

Clark, a top contender for the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, had a decent performance at the All-Star game. She started the game and played 26 minutes, recording four points, ten assists, and one rebound. Flau'jae Johnson reacted on X to the pass Clark made to another WNBA ROTY candidate, Angel Reese.

"This had me out of my seat," Johnson tweeted.

Flau'jae Johnson, a 5-foot-10 guard, faced off against Clark twice at college level. They first met at the 2023 NCAA national championship game at American Airlines Center. Despite Clark's 30-point game, Iowa lost the match and LSU won the championship.

Johnson and Clark's second meeting occurred last season in April 2024 during the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. In this game, Clark once again delivered an outstanding performance with 41 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists, leading in all categories.

Flau'jae Johnson on Caitlin Clark missing out on Team USA

During an episode of Flau'jae Johnson's podcast, Best of Both Worlds, last week, she discussed with her mother, Kia J Brooks, the team selection for the US national team for the Paris Olympics. Johnson did not agree with Kia, who said Caitlin Clark was a snub.

"How would you feel if I was on Team USA and I had worked all of these years, did all of these trials, did all of these things, and went through all of these cuts? And then this girl comes, right?" Flau'jae Johnson said.
"She ain't do not a practice, not a nothing, and we in this in there practicing together. Did all of that; she just come, she just take my spot, because she is lit right now. How would you feel?" She's only a rookie. She has time to grow, I believe," Johnson added.

Clark represented Team USA and won gold medals at the FIBA Americas Under-16 Championship in 2017, the FIBA Under-19 World Cup in 2019, and another gold medal in 2021.
