Flau'jae Johnson is enjoying the best offseason following the release of her debut album, 'Best of Both Worlds'. After performing during the WNBA All-Star Weekend, Johnson put on a show in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The LSU guard reposted a video from her performance and wrote:

"I wanna go on tour"

Johnson has been managing dual careers as a rapper and a basketball player for most of her life. With the release of her album, she further established herself as a full-fledged music artist and a tour could not be far away.

When talking to Yahoo Sports after her album release, Flau'jae Johnson said:

“I want my music to chart. I wanna go perform. I wanted to get millions of streams and things like that. I think that’s the next big goal for me. And I want a Grammy! Some kind of award, really, but a Grammy, for sure.”

Johnson's song from the album, Came Out a Beast, featuring Lil Wayne, accumulated 1 million streams on Spotify last week.

Flau'jae Johnson releases official WNBA anthem

On Wednesday, Flau'jae Johnson, in collaboration with fellow rappers BIA and Lakeyah, released the song "Can't Get Enough" and dubbed it as the official WNBA anthem. In the snippet that she shared on her Instagram, Johnson rapped:

"Who said that i was talking and wasnt walking it/who said that they was streaming and nobody coping it/These rappers gettin soft again they done got me pissed off again/Im crushing they esophagus got em gassing for oxygen"

Flau'jae Johnson is one of the few college athletes to successfully manage two careers. The 2023 NCAA Champion has just two more years in LSU before she declares for the WNBA draft. However, she said in an interview that she does not plan to have a long basketball career.

"Oh, I am not going to be in my 30s still playing in the league," she said (via USA TODAY). "No, I’ve been playing since I was 3. I’m gonna get a couple years in the league (WNBA), hopefully buy a team and then go sit on an island in Cancun," she added.

The Tigers guard also revealed on her "Best of Both Worlds" podcast that she is willing to join the WNBA early if she were to win a championship in the upcoming 2024–25 season.

While it is possible, Johnson and the Tigers will face heavy competition from the USC Trojans and South Carolina, who have put together a stacked roster.
