LSU Tigers duo Last-Tear Poa and Flau’jae Johnson were seen vibing together in their latest TikTok post. Last-Tear Poa, a senior at LSU, shared a video on Tuesday during some free time, showing off her threaded lime green outfit, with Flau’jae Johnson vibing along with her.

Flau'jae Johnson and Last-Tear Poa have built a relationship outside the court, with Poa recently paying tribute to Flau'jae on her birthday (Nov. 3) and sharing memories on social media. Poa and Johnson arrived at LSU together in 2022 and won the national championship that same season, with Poa averaging 20.1 minutes across 36 games last season.

The 5-foot-11 Poa has averaged 2.8 points, 0.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists this season. Poa may not have had the fastest start to the season, but the LSU guard will be looking to build consistency throughout the season.

Last-Tear Poa continues to build consistency with LSU Tigers

After playing just four minutes in her first start for the Tigers, Last-Tear Poa has continued her journey to securing more minutes in the LSU squad. The LSU guard has featured in six of the Tigers' 9 games this season, averaging 12.7 mins per game.

Last-Tear Poa made her return to the team against Murray State Racers, playing 7 mins in the 74-60 victory back on Nov. 16. Since her return, Poa has played more minutes on the court in three consecutive games until her surprise four minutes against NCSU on Nov. 27. Coach Mulkey showed faith in the 22-year-old senior by giving the guard her first start in the 2024-25 season in LSU’s 82-65 win.

Fast forward to Sunday's 131-44 blow-out victory, Last-Tear Poa scored her first double-digit points of the season (12) in 13 minutes on the court. Last season, Last-Tear Poa suffered injuries to her head and neck in the Tigers' 75-67 win against Ole Miss, which caused worry in the LSU community.

She had to be carried off the court on a stretcher, and she was later found to have a concussion. This resulted in her absence from LSU's loss against South Carolina in the SEC women's basketball tournament semifinals. The Tigers later lost to Iowa Hawkeyes in the NCAA women's championship Elite 8, where she put up 6 points, 3 assists and 1 steal.

The 5-foot-11 senior has shown signs of consistency over the last few games and will be aiming to build on the momentum in upcoming matchups. LSU Tigers will take on Stanford Cardinal (Dec. 5), as they aim to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
