Lucy Olsen spent some quality time with her family during the Christmas break and made sure to document some of her moments, especially with her mother. On Saturday, Olsen posted a video on TikTok showing herself and her mother dancing together during the holiday week.

In the caption, Olsen expressed how much she missed her mother after returning to the Iowa women's basketball team with just three words.

"Miss momma already," Olsen captioned the video.

How Lucy Olsen, Iowa played against Purdue

Lucy Olsen and the No. 24 Iowa Hawkeyes returned from the Christmas break against the Purdue Boilermakers on Sunday. They were dominant in an 84-63 blowout victory.

Olsen did not have the best statistical performance. In 22 minutes of action, she finished with six points and six assists on 3-of-10 shooting from the field.

Despite this, the Hawkeyes did not need high-volume scoring, with Addison O'Grady leading the way with just 12 points. Instead, the team showcased a balanced offense as they aggressive in crashing the glass and moving the ball as they finished with 42 rebounds and 21 assists (Purdue had 27 rebounds and 16 assists).

Olsen is averaging 18.6 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.0 rebounds on 44.6% shooting from the field and 27.3% from beyond the arc after 10 games this season. She was on a 10-game streak of scoring in double-digits before seeing it end against Purdue.

Following the win, Iowa improved to 11-2 on the season.

Other than Olsen, two other Hawkeyes are providing scoring in double-digits. Hannah Stuelke is the runner-up with 14 points and 7.5 rebounds, while O'Grady comes next with 13.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.

With their 2024 schedule now over, Lucy Olsen and the No. 24 Hawkeyes will look forward to their upcoming New Year's Day matchup with Penn State at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 1 at 1 p.m. ET.
