Being a public figure comes with the risk of receiving hate comments and the Cavinder twins are no strangers to it. With their return to college basketball upcoming, Hanna and Haley Cavinder are facing more criticism for their choices.

In a TikTok posted on Monday, the twins replied to a comment that claimed they have been in school for 12 years with a simple retort:

"Never stop learning"

This did not stop the haters as one took to the comments of the video and wrote:

"They tried to leave but went broke real quick. Back to NIL. Then they will start digging for gold"

The Cavinder twins replied:

"hmmmm, u think"

After three years at Fresno State, Hanna and Hailey Cavinder played their senior year with the Miami Hurricanes. After leading the Canes to a historic Elite Eight appearance, they left school to focus on their business ventures and work on a potential WWE return.

However, Haley Cavinder felt she had more to give, so she chose to return for a final season and committed to the TCU Horned Frogs in November 2023. Later in April, Hanna followed, with both twins committing to play for TCU.

While rumors of them returning just for the NIL money have circulated for a while, the Cavinder twins state their only goal is to share the basketball court one last time.

Haley Cavinder once shared about her mental breakdown caused by hate from internet trolls

While this is not their first time receiving hate comments, Haley Cavinder opened up about a time when she had a mental breakdown over hate comments. When she went public with her relationship with Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson, Haley received immense hate from trolls who went after her looks.

In a January episode of their YouTube Q&A, Haley Cavinder said:

"I was in Forever 21 having a great day with my mom and Hanna, and I got this post. And I just started looking at the comments about my face. I’m a confident girl, but when people are saying stuff about you — if you have a boyfriend and someone is talking about you online with your boyfriend … like coming at your features. I’m like, 'This is new.'"
"And, obviously, Jake is a great guy, but you don’t want to be called ugly on the internet 24/7 and your boyfriend sees it. That’s not going to make anyone feel cool. So, I had a mental breakdown," she said.

Haley Cavinder added she has overcome her insecurities with the support of her boyfriend, who is always proud of his relationship with her.
