The Cavinder twins signed a three-year NIL deal with Under Armour in July, marking their return to college basketball for the final season and setting them on the path to becoming the "Queens of NIL" that they were before.
On Monday, Under Armour, with a market cap is $4.2 billion (per company market Cap), shared their latest campaign video on Instagram featuring Hanna and Haley Cavinder.
"Fresh fits. Bold moves. We took the classic warm-ups and upgraded them for the everyday athlete," the caption read.
In a statement released in July, Hanna and Haley commented on the nature of their partnership.
“Under Armour is giving us a platform to continue on our journey of inspiring the next generation. Whether participating in the latest campaigns, testing out their newest gear or connecting with other athletes in the Under Armour community, this is a dream partnership with a chance to push our limits and inspire others to do the same.”
Hanna and Haley Cavinder once shared the importance of NIL
When the NIL was introduced in 2021, Hanna and Haley moved from Fresno State to Miami and were the first college athletes to fully explore NIL. At one point, they were valued at $2 million.
During their appearance on "The Big Money Show" in March, Hanna and Haley Cavinder commented on their brand and the opportunities that come with NIL.
"Name, image and likeness throughout college, just taught us so much about how to invest our money, Hanna said. "We got with the right team, a great attorney. My dad always would tell us, it's not a four-year plan, it's a 40-year plan. So, we kind of came from a business side of things.
"And then just always to remember to invest, long-term wise. We wanted to create a brand and a successful business, and honestly, that's all due to NIL and the connections and relationships that we built."
Hanna Cavinder is valued at $852,000 right now, while her twin Haley comes at $895,000. While many speculated that the twins' return to the NCAA was NIL, they have both said that playing their final year together was always the goal.
Their time at Miami is off to a great start as a month into the 2024-25 season, the Hurricanes are ranked first in the ACC with a seven-game winning streak. They led Miami to the Elite Eight during their senior year and are expected to repeat it this season as well.
