The Cavinder twins return to college basketball and will feature for the Miami squad, looking to impact before the end of their fifth year. Haley and Hanna Cavinder have consistently shared pictures and videos on their social media platforms, with the latest being a TikTok video where they show off their cool dancing skills.

The sisters also shared videos from their workout sessions, which will help them make a comeback to the hardwood floor after a year.
Cavinder twins praised by Tricia Cullop ahead of the college basketball season
One of the biggest storylines from the Miami Hurricanes squad came in April when Haley and Hanna Cavinder ended their one-year hiatus from college basketball and decided to play for the team again.
Haley Cavinder previously committed to the TCU Horned Frogs in November 2023 to play for the 2024-2025 season. Then, in April, Hanna announced that she would be back with the Hurricanes for another year. This led Haley to transfer to Miami, as she wanted to finish her last season of college athletics with her sister.
Tricia Cullop, the new head coach who replaced the retired Kate Meier, praised the sisters. She called them:
“The two hardest workers I’ve ever coached.”
When one of the Cavinder twins was asked if the current has any similarities to the one that played in the 2023 Elite Eight round, they said:
“No. We’re a whole different team. I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I think it’s a great thing. We have great post players. I’ve never played with two talented post players like this. Nat (Marshall) and Cam (Williams) are insane, so I’m super fired up by that.”
The Miami Hurricanes will kick off the season in November and will face Stetson as their first opponent.
